Welcome to Golf Tips For The Weekend Warriors. By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Golf Tips For The Weekend Warriors app ("Service"), you agree to:

• Our Privacy Policy
• All applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

Golf Tips For The Weekend Warriors provides:

• 120+ golf tips from PGA professionals
• Text-to-speech functionality for audio playback
• Ability to save and bookmark favorite tips
• Search and categorization features
• Personalized golf improvement content

3. User Account and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → User Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the app's security
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute app content without permission
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity

4.2 User Conduct

While our app primarily provides content (rather than user-generated content), you agree to use the Service responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws.

5. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content provided in the app, including but not limited to:

• Golf tips and instructional content
• Images, graphics, and logos
• Text, audio, and multimedia content
• Software code and app functionality

is owned by Golf Tips For The Weekend Warriors or our content licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Access and use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
• View and listen to golf tips for your own improvement

You may NOT:

• Reproduce, distribute, or sell our content
• Create derivative works from our content
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

5.3 User Content

Any content you upload (such as profile pictures) remains yours, but you grant us a license to use, store, and display it as necessary to provide the Service.

6. Subscription and Payments

Currently, the app is free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms and notify users.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 "As-Is" Service

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of content

7.2 Golf Instruction Disclaimer

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golf Tips For The Weekend Warriors shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Golf Tips For The Weekend Warriors, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of any rights of another party

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for:

• The content or practices of third-party sites
• Any damages resulting from your use of third-party services

12. Changes to These Terms

• We will notify you via email or in-app notification for material changes
• Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

If you don't agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" feature in Settings.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Service

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
• Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Provisions that should survive (liability limitations, indemnification) remain in effect

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@weekendwarriorgolf.golf to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

14.2 Binding Arbitration

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify.

14.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis, not as a class action, and you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington/ USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Washington, USA.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Golf Tips For The Weekend Warriors regarding the use of the Service.

18. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

19. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
